About Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre

The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) was established in 2015 as a key plank of the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Centre Initiative. AMGC’s goal is to drive innovation, productivity, and competitiveness across Australia’s manufacturing industry.

AMGC is an industry-led, not-for-profit organisation. AMGC’s vision is to transform Australian manufacturing to become an internationally competitive, dynamic, and thriving industry with advanced capabilities and skills at its core. To put it simple, AMGC helps to transform the lucky country into a smart country.

AMGC achieves this by setting the direction for manufacturing through our world-leading research, talk about it via online education tool called ‘Manufacturing Academy’, workshops, and networking events. AMGC walk’s the talk by co-funding ground-breaking projects to commercialise good ideas.

How AMGC will be contributing to the Team.eX program

AMGC runs and operates Manufacturing Academy and will host the Team.eX modules. Manufacturing Academy is an online education tool offering free education, guidance and leadership for Australian manufacturers seeking advancement, competitiveness, and growth.

Manufacturing Academy offers industry over 500 pages of in-depth research conducted by AMGC, interviews with more than 20 Australian manufacturers, and over 50 hours of video content – all distilled into inspirational and informative modules. In contribution to the Team.eX program, AMGC will host Team.eX content and modules on Manufacturing Academy.
